Qatar Aces with a World Class Fashion Show

With the collaboration of Design Creationz, Qatar Tourism Authority conducted a highly successful 7^th Edition of Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition. The show lasted for 6 days, concluding on Monday, after 6 days of classy showcasing of fashion industry in Qatar.

Before the closing ceremony of 7^th edition, the organizers announced that they are already planning to host 8^th edition of the exhibition by the end of the year 2015.

Michelle Demejon, the operational General Manager of Design Creationz told in an interview that they are looking to attract designers from Europe, America, Asia and GCC to pitch new styles in to the market in next edition. In addition to his statements, the Director of exhibitions at QTA Mr Hamad Al Abdan commented that QTA considers these exhibitions to be playing a vital role in developing the tourism industry in Qatar. He also said that QTA has been and will be striving hard to improve and promote art, and fashion industry.

During the 6 days of exhibition, more than 280 designers from Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Bahrain participated in the exhibition, looking for the breakthrough in Qatar’s top market. QTA provided them with a unique platform to pitch their designs, gain new customers and promote their talent on international level.

Designers have applauded the role of QTA and Design Creationz in developing fashion industry in middle east and they are looking forward to more editions to come.
